I am so sorry to hear about the passing of "Uncle Buddy". As a child, I always appreciated him warmly welcoming me and my parents to his home for holidays and other family gatherings. He was especially generous in offering me free batteries from Sears. As a boy with several battery-powered gadgets and toys, I alway appreciated the box full of batteries that I was given at each visit. I used them to power my remote-controlled cars, walkman, and various toys for the rest of the year! He was a kind man and will be missed. I also appreciate his service to the community and to the nation. My deepest condolences, John Port
