Margaret E  Warner (Sutton)
Margaret E. (Sutton) Warner, 77, of Pocono Lake, passed away Thursday, April 27 in Weatherwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly.

She was the wife of William Warner. They would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in May of this year.

Born in Fargo, MI, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Maxine (Tewell) Sutton.

Margaret worked in the food service industry at Burger King in Mt. Pocono for over seventeen years. Prior to that she worked as a waitress at the Sportsman Restaurant in Blakeslee.

She was a member of the HATT (Historical Association of Tobyhanna Township). She loved playing tennis and softball and enjoyed taking long walks. She also cared about her foster kids, taking care of forty six children for over twenty years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, Mark Warner and wife Donna of Pocono Lake, Chuck Warner and wife Judi of Sciota, Andrew Warner and wife Bonnie of New Woodstock, NY, David Warner of Pocono Lake, and Richard Warner of CA; a daughter, Kerri Gerencher and husband John of Nazareth; two sisters, Meredith Potbury and husband Art of Roseville, MI, Sandra Haas and husband Fred of Tacoma, WA; a sister-in-law, Margaret Sutton of Port Huron, MI; six grandchildren, Tarah and husband Zach, Jenna, Hailey, Nicolette, Sierra, and Kaelyn.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2 at 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 1 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home and on May 2 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Cherry Valley Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
