Condolences

Condolence From: Tennessee Museum of Aviation
Condolence: Sending our deepest condolences to the family and everyone who loved Bert. The staff and volunteers, at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation, will forever have a void in their hearts. Bert is remembered, not only as a lifetime member and supporter of the museum; he's remembered most as a flag waving, God Bless America, hot dog and apple pie kind of guy. He was proud to have served his country and one of the most patriotic men that ever walked this earth. Although, Bert never flew his beloved P-47 Thunderbolt (his baby), he has earned his wings and will forever soar in our hearts.

Condolence From: Betty Rinker
Condolence: All our thoughts and prayers are with Bert's family. He was a wonderful man and was much loved. He will be greatly missed. Bert was my brother-in-law but we considered him part of our family as well. He will always live in our hearts.

Condolence From: Wendy Savercool
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to his family. Lubbertus was one of my favorite patients. He would hunt me down just to say hello and to give me his favorite ginger cookies,
(He could only get the in Jersey). My memories of him will always bring a smile. May your memories do the same. He truly has his wings now do he can fly forever. He was one of kind.
