David E. Valley, 77, of Wind Gap, passed away Saturday, June 9 in his home with his wife by his side.

He was the loving husband of Joan (Ziegenfus) Valley. They recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary in May.

Born in Du Bois, PA, he was the son of the late John Valley and the late Mildred (Swack) Valley.

David was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was also a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Wind Gap.

He most recently was a customer service representative for Telerx in Allentown.

He served on the Borough Council of Wind Gap. He also was a former member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing, and he was the last remaining member of the Breakfast Club that met at the Wind Gap Diner.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Brian Valley and wife Sherri, Kevin Valley and wife Kathy, and Keith Valley, all of Nazareth; three step children, Elwood Fenner of Pen Argyl, Tina Kichline of Pen Argyl, Tracey Sankar and husband Gary of Pennsburg; eleven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
