Obituary for George Klump Sr.

George Klump Sr., 68, of Blakeslee, passed away Thursday, May 31 in his home.

Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Sterling Klump and the late Louise (Eicker) Klump.

George worked as a steel worker for most his life, and started out working for Ingersoll-Rand Co. in Bethlehem. He then worked for Atlantic States Pipe in New Jersey, and in his later years he took a job at Lipkins Furniture in Easton until retirement.

He is survived by his son, George Klump Jr. and wife Frankie of Easton; his brother, Allen Klump and wife Carol of Palmerton; two grandchildren, Faith and Cameron Klump. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Casterline.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
