Patrice K. Violante, 66, of Effort, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away on Friday, January 19 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono.

She was the wife of Vito Violante. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in November.

Born in the Panama Canal, she was the daughter of the late Henry Tompkins and the late Nancy (Terpenny) Tompkins.

Patrice worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Corrections in New York City for ten years.

She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Nancy Gilbert of Long Island, NY, Linda Cardinali and husband Joseph of Florida; and four nephews, Michael, Peter, Christopher, and Douglas.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, January 22 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
