Stanley Gerald Overpeck, 73, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday, January 4 in St. Luke's Hospital-Monroe Campus..

Born September 10, 1944, he was a son of the late Howard Overpeck Sr. and the late Mary Ann (Kibler) Overpeck.

He had worked at Klingel's Farm in Saylorsburg for several years and previously he had worked for Roadway in Tannersville.

He is survived by four sons, Stanley Meeker of East Stroudsburg, Jeff Overpeck of Tannersville, Stanley Overpeck Jr. and Keith Meeker of Bartonsville; a daughter, Carla Dolecek of Palmerton; a brother, Marlin "Butch" Overpeck of Kunkletown; a sister, Marlene Smith of Newfoundland; five grandchildren, Makenzie, Sammy, Billy, Chy and Ashlee and a great grandchild, Ahnya. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Overpeck, a brother, Arlington Overpeck and by a sister, Theresa Pontrelli.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
