Nicholas C. Altamuro, 66, of Glenolden, passed away on Friday, December 29 in Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton.

He was the husband of Dolores "Dee" (McAuliffe) Altamuro. Together for forty two years, they had observed their 38th wedding anniversary in February.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Thomas and Marie (Gallo) Altamuro.

Nicholas had worked for Boeing in Ridley Park for nine years and prior to that he had been a salesman for various companies in NY, NJ and Canada for thirty five years.

He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Altamuro of Albrightsville and Thomas Altamuro of Summerville, SC and four grandchildren, Nicolette, Vincent, Morgan and Michael.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 2 at 1:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
