Kathleen M. Cregan, 67, of Effort, passed away on Sunday, December 24 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.

She was the wife of the late John C. Cregan who passed away on December 5. They had been married for 49 years.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late James and Florence (McDonald) Fehling.

Kathleen was a wonderful wife. mother and grandmother of eight.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Carr and her husband Michael of Kunkletown and Lorraine Pena of Effort; a son, James Cregan and his wife Katy of East Meadow, NY; three sisters, Florence Intrabartola and her husband Steve, Regina Alongi and her husband Frank and Lorraine Fehling; a sister-in-law, Susan Horowitz and her husband Ira; a niece Kyra Miles and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
