Obituary for Thomas Joseph "TJ" Janotti

Thomas Joseph "TJ" Janotti, 33, of Kunkletown, passed away on Sunday, December 24, in Towamensing Township.

He was the husband of Jillian Leslie (Bruch) Janotti. Together for fifteen years, they were married on September 23 of this year.

Born in Oceanside, NY, he was the son of Thomas Joseph Janotti and Doreen Mary (Pugliano) Janotti.

TJ's life revolved around his family. They meant everything to him, especially his wife and kids. He was not only the greatest father but also the most patient and loving family man. He looked forward to every family gathering and holiday. He loved sports and coaching. He was an all star basketball player growing up and loved every second of coaching his son Damen on and off the court. TJ loved sitting at the poker table whether in the casino or around the family dining table. He loved studying the horse program and betting on the horses, especially with his dad. Another passion of TJ's was music. He could take a beat and turn it into his own symphony. He spent hours writing and making music with his brother, Jay and many friends that came to his homemade studio. When TJ put his mind to something he could do anything. He overcame many ups and downs and did everything he could to make his family proud of the man he had become.TJ should be remembered for his compassion, heart of gold, his ability to drop anything for the people he loved and for being the most amazing son, brother, uncle, father, husband, and friend.

In addition to his wife and parents, TJ is survived by a son, Damen Janotti; two daughters, Rielle Janotti and Isabella Garcia; a brother, Jason A. Janotti and wife Alexandra of Bradenton, FL; a sister, Nicole A. Votta and husband Chris of Perkasie; nieces, Ella Votta, Amelia Bruch, Evelyn Bruch; a nephew, Trevor Janotti; a grandfather, Alfred Pugliano; and many Aunts and Uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Laura Janotti and Elizabeth Pugliano, and his grandfather, Thomas Janotti.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29 at 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 29 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
