Jan L. (Ottoson) Jones, 63, of Kunkletown, passed away on Thursday, September 21 in her home.

She was the wife of the late John Ezra Jones. Before his passing in 2006, they were married for thirty years.

Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eric Ottoson and the late Charlotte (Whisenhunt) Ottoson.

Jan worked as a secretary at Neovia Logistics in Tannersville for several years.

She was an animal lover who often donated to the ASPCA. She loved her dog
Dulcé and her cats Sunny and Cherry.

She is survived by two daughters, Katie Jones and companion Michael Bowman of Effort, Amanda Jones and Fiancé Jeffrey Regina of Kunkletown; two stepsons, Richard Jones of NC and Robert Jones of NJ; two brothers, Mark Ottoson and wife Sherry of Flanders, NJ, David Ottoson and wife Melissa of Stanhope, NJ; three sisters, Leslie Crinnian of FL, Doris Ottoson of Allamuchy, NJ, Amy Quinoa and husband Manny of Allamuchy, NJ; three grandchildren, Alivia Shelp, Hunter Tressler, Taylor Jones; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 25 at 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 25 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will follow in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
