Bonnie L. Werkheiser, 67, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 13 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.

She was the wife of Ronald A. Werkheiser. They had observed their 43rd wedding anniversary in April.

Born in Bushkill, she was a daughter of the late Laura (Van Vliet) McWilliams.

Bonnie had done janitorial work in the Stroudsburg School District for two years. She was a musician from an early age, playing in her mother's band The Apaches.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Seth Werkheiser of Stroudsburg; a daughter, Holly Soto of Dover, DE; two brothers, Blaine McWilliams of Bethlehem and Dayton McWilliams of Stroudsburg and two grandchildren, Paige and Abbigale.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8 from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
