Margaret Ellen Warner, 86, of Saylorsburg passed away on Monday, May 15 in St. Luke's Hospital Monroe Campus.

She was the wife of Jacob Johnson Warner Sr. They had observed their 67th wedding anniversary in March.

Born in Shades Creek, she was a daughter of the late John and Hannah (Meade) Blakeslee.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by six sons, Jacob Warner Jr. and his wife Karen of Effort, Roy Warner and his wife Cheryl of Bennettsville, SC, John Warner and his wife Young Suk of Yorktown, VA, Gary Warner and his wife Cecilia of Effort, Ben Warner and his wife Sherri of Kiersteadville, New Brunswick Canada and Joseph Warner and his wife Debra of Kunkletown; three daughters, Debi Puzen and her husband George of Lehighton, Jean Bonser and her husband Steve of Port Allegany and Marie Meckes and her husband Norman of Effort; twenty three grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, James and John Blakeslee, sisters, Alberta Wood, Bessie Berger and Isabelle Blakeslee and by a grandson, Joe Warner.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 19 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Ben Warner officiating. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
