Brian T. Sweeney, 55, of Albrightsville, passed away on Friday, March 10 in his home.

He was the husband of Michael L. Miller. They celebrated their second wedding anniversary in July.

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late James T. and Mary P. (McKiernan) Sweeney.

Brian worked in office management and collections in New York for most of his life.

In addition to his husband, he is survived by a brother, Raymond Sweeney and wife Maritza in Florida; a sister, Julia Mikulka and husband Peter of Marlboro, NJ; five nieces, Alison, Emily, Hailey, Venus, and Jessica.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 1:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. A viewing will be held on Friday, March 17 at 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will be follow in the H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
