Donald C. Zettlemoyer, 79, of Kunkletown passed away on Monday, March 6.

He was the husband of Alena (Green) Zettlemoyer. They would have observed their 55th wedding anniversary on March 17.

Born in Kunkletown, he was the son of the late Claud and Alma (Barlieb) Zettlemoyer.

Donald was an independent insurance agent for forty years, retiring in 1998.

He was a US Army veteran.

He was a member of Trinity ECC of Berlinsville, the Grundsow Lodge Nommer Sexa and the Chestnut Ridge Senior Citizens.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Patrick Zettlemoyer of Palmerton and Alan Zettlemoyer and his wife Carolyn of Palmerton; a daughter, Karen Beltz and her husband Timothy of Palmerton and three grandchildren, Marshall Zettlemoyer, Tyler Beltz and Brandy Vasser.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10 at 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Ken Schira officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Kunkletown. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
