Robert L. Mellott, 53, of Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, February 22 in the home of his brother, Mike.

Born in Denville, NJ he was the son of the June (Brunner) Mellott and the late Bernard Mellott.

Robert worked as an accountant at various firms in NJ for many years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Jared Mellott and Kyle Mellott, both in NC; a daughter, Brianna Mellott in NC; a brother Mike Mellott and his fiance Denise of Stroudsburg; four sisters, Ann Marie Harcher in FL, Susan Mellott in NJ, Diane Mellott in NJ and Jackie Grajera in Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by a sister, Terrey Caselli.

Graveside services will take place on Monday, February 27 at 1:30 PM from Gates of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ. Entombment will follow.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
