Elaine K. Adams, 82, of Wind Gap, died Saturday, January 28 in Good Shepherd Hospital, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence E. Adams.

Born in Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Bessie (Kibler) Koehler.

She was a 1953 graduate of Chestnuthill High School and a 1955 graduate of Churchman's Business School in Easton.

She was a member of the Faith Alive Community Church in Wind Gap.

Elaine had worked as a secretary for many years starting at Binney & Smith in Easton, then working for several other businesses until retiring in 1999.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was the President of the Stroudsburg Chapter of Aglo.

She is survived by a sister, Marion Sobers of Saylorsburg; two brothers, Harold Koehler of Saylorsburg and Lawrence Koehler of Jonas. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Koehler Jr., and two sisters, Virginia Koehler and Geraldine Storm.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, with Rev. Harold Burkett officiating. Burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A closed casket visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
