Zvonko A. Sehic, 89, of Jonas passed away on Tuesday, January 17 in the Weatherwood Nursing Home, Weatherly.

Born in Slovenia, he was a son of the late Osman and Mariga Sehic. After living in Austria and Brazil, his family emigrated to the US in 1963. The family lived in New York where he worked as an engineer. In 1983 the family moved to the Poconos where he built his dream home in Jonas. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maria (Markic) Sehic; two daughters, Drina Kessler and her fiancé' Daniel in NY and Norma Sehic-Martin and her husband Dennis of Jonas; two grandchildren, Brendan and Evan Kessler and a brother, Zlatko Sehic in Canada.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21 from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert with Rev. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Burial will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg. There will be no viewing.
