Obituary for Linda Anna Woerner

Linda Anna Woerner, 42, of Effort passed away gently on the evening of October 26, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and recently a student in the Penn Foster College Veterinary Program.

Linda was an extraordinary, vibrant and driven person, making her mark easily on whatever she chose to do. She was active and successful in local real estate investment. Linda's love of travel placed her in Cozumel, Mexico searching out real estate opportunities there as well, and vacationing in the Dominican Republic regularly with her fiancé Adam.

Linda's lifelong love of animals eventually led her to work in veterinary clinics and to the pursuit of her veterinary technician licensure. She was a loving pet owner and an avid, doting chicken keeper.

Linda was a devoted, caring, and nurturing daughter, sister, step-mother, fiancé and friend who touched the lives of so many. She is survived by her fiancé Adam Herman of Effort and step-son, Jarett Herman. Her brothers; Robert and Steven Woerner, her niece, Kristy Woerner and Steven's fiancé Kimberly. Her mother, Elsie Woerner of Neola and her father and mother-in-law, Mike and Carol Herman.

Linda's funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 2 at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Visitation there will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM< and the service will begin at 2:00 PM.
