Margaret Althea Young, 90, of Snydersville, died Monday, May 12 in Pleasant Valley Manor.

She was the wife of the late David Young.

Born on September 8, 1923 in Gilbert, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Sadie (Serfass) Buck.

She had worked at Ronson Corp. in East Stroudsburg and Delaware Water Gap for 27 years and then later as a custodian in the Pleasant Valley Middle School for 10 years.

She is survived by her son, Edward D. Young and his wife Catherine E. Young of Providence, NC; a brother, Delbert Buck and his wife Gloria of Kresgeville; a grandson, Mark A. Young of Canadensis and four nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 15 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. J. Christopher Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Trachsville. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
