Josephine M. Vaughn, 82, of Kunkletown, PA and formerly of Middlesex, NJ died Thursday, December 13 in her home.

She was the wife of the late Donald G. Vaughn.

Born in McAndrews, KY she was a daughter of the late Michelangelo and Calogera (Reggetto) Scalzo. She had lived in Middlesex, NJ for about 15 years.

Josephine was an incredible cook and gardener.

She is survived by four sons, Michael Vaughn of Asbury, NJ, Mark Vaughn, of Phillipsburg, NJ and Paul Vaughn of Washington, NJ; a daughter, Coleen Vaughn of Wilmot, NH; six sisters, Carmella, Christine, Jeanne, Rose, Elizabeth and Mary Ann; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 22 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, PA with Lawrence Reggetto officiating. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
